Composition of Charging Tariff

The tariff for your charging energy with Sintio may differ from the tariff of your energy provider. You can view the cost breakdown for your charging session under the respective charging station on the Sintio portal or the mobile app.

The costs may include the following components:

ComponentDescription
Tariff periodTime period during which the tariff is valid
Price per kWhCost for one kilowatt-hour of electrical energy
Power tariffCost per peak power per installation [CHF/kW/month]
Start feeOne-time fee at the beginning of the charging process
Price per minuteTime-based costs – e.g. relevant for public charging
Tariff surcharge per kWhTariff surcharge per kilowatt-hour for routers, line losses, standby and loss currents

You can find more information about the power tariff here (opens in a new tab).

ℹ️

The revenue from charging energy is used to cover the utility provider's bill. This is handled either by your property management (sintio.service/sintio.light subscription) or by Sintio (sintio.fullservice subscription).

Private vs. Public Tariff

Depending on the type of access, the tariff may vary.
On each of your charging stations, you will find all available access types (Private and/or Public)
and the corresponding tariffs.
