OCPP Integration Eaton Charging Stations

  1. Access the Configuration Page via WiFi Hotspot

    Note: The configuration page is active for 30 minutes. After that, you must turn the charging station off and on again to reactivate it.

    To connect, follow these steps:

    • Turn the charging station off and on by toggling the circuit breaker.
    • Enable WiFi on your smartphone or computer.
    • Select the charger from the list under the name GM_XXXXX, where XXXXX corresponds to the charger's serial number. Connect using the password provided in the delivery brochure.
    • Open your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and go to: http://192.168.53.1. The configuration page for the selected charger will appear.
    • You might see a warning about potential security risks. Proceed to the page anyway.

  2. Configure the Grid Settings on the Charging Station

    In the "Grid" section, you can make the following adjustments:

    • Set the Phase rotation according to your power connection.
    • Set the Voltage to match your power network.
    • Save the settings.

  1. Connect the Station to the Local WiFi

    Navigate to the "Network" section.

    • Enter the name of the local network in the SSID text field.
    • Enter the local network password in the Password text field.
    • Click Save.

WIFI

  1. OCPP Configuration

    Go to the "OCPP Server" section.

    • Enter the charger's serial number in the BoxId/ChargingStationId text field. This ID will be used for the station to register on the Sintio portal.
    • Enter the following URL in the Server URL text field: wss://ocpp.sintio.app/ocpp16/{OrganisationId}/.
    • Replace {OrganisationId} in the URL with the actual ID of your organisation, e.g.: wss://ocpp.sintio.app/ocpp16/myOrganisation/
    • Select 2 - TLS User/Password Authentication from the Security Profile dropdown menu.
    • Leave the Username field empty.
    • Enter your OCPP password in the Password field.
    • Click Save & Apply and restart the charging station.

OCPP-LINK

  1. Link the Charging Station to Your Sintio Account

    The Eaton GM charging station now appears on the Sintio portal under charging stations.
